A frequent recitalist and concerto soloist, Daniel Tong has performed at the South Bank, Cheltenham Festival, Steinway Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields and other major venues. As a chamber musician he appears regularly at the UK’s major concert halls (including many appearances at the Wigmore Hall) and festivals, and has played throughout Europe. His recordings include works by Frank Bridge and Dvorak, and he has broadcast many times on BBC Radio 3. Daniel is director of the Wye Valley Chamber Music Festival, where he has collaborated with Richard Wigmore on ‘Discovery Days’, and is artistic director of the Winchester Chamber Music Festival. His recording of Schubert’s late A major Sonata and Moments musicaux was released this spring.

Joseph Tong enjoys a busy and successful career as soloist, duo pianist, chamber musician, Festival Director and teacher. He made his Wigmore Hall debut in 1997 as winner of the Maisie Lewis Young Artists Award and was First Prize winner in the John Lill Awards. Joseph has given recital and concerto performances across Europe, in USA, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore as well as throughout the UK. This season’s highlights include the Guildford, Wye Valley, Oundle and Cheltenham Festivals, Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, St John’s, Smith Square, and a Wigmore Hall recital in July with Waka Hasegawa.
Joseph was elected Associate of the Royal Academy of Music in 2008 and is founder and Co-Director of the Bristol International Piano Duo Festival.
