Details of Bath Mozartfest

Bath’s answer to the Salzburg Mozartwochen has been a regular offering since I began my music ventures in 2007. I have again reserved rooms in the 3-star Abbey Hotel, close to Bath Abbey, where the Saturday evening concert takes place.
The remaining concerts are in the nearby Guildhall, and in the Georgian Assembly Rooms, a 15-minute walk, partly uphill, from the hotel.
True to its name, the festival’s focus is Mozart, though there is also a strong Schubert strand, plus a celebration of Monteverdi’s sacred music from The Sixteen.
