Vox Luminis/Lionel Meunier

All-Bach vocal concert: Motets by Johann Sebastian and his 

17th-century ancestors, culminating in JS’s beautiful 

funeral motet Jesu, meine Freude.

7.30 All-Schubert concert in Snape Maltings, recreating Schubert’s 

own Viennese benefit concert in March 1828. Artists include 

singers Mark Padmore and Roderick Williams, pianist Roger 

Vignoles, Quatuor Diotima

Works include the first movement of the G major Quartet, D887, 

the E flat Piano Trio, D928, songs, and works for chorus and 

piano
